For the past 9 months I’ve been taking a writing class in Seattle. Yeah, that’s right, writing, not digital fancy anything. And it’s been in literary fiction to boot. It was a fantastic exercise in learning more about story structure. While it’s important to learn to embrace and use new forms of storytelling, it’s good to have a firmer grasp on traditional narrative.
